Tommy Amaker has made waves in the past year by putting together a recruiting class that is ranked in the top 10 nationally. Now he is going to add to it. After a nine-year hiatus from college basketball, former Texas forward Kevin Durant will rejoin the NCAA ranks to try and take Harvard back to the top of the Ivy table. Durant, whose impending free agency has been a major storyline in the NBA this season, put all of the speculation to rest Friday via press release. Durant thanked the many teammates he’s played with over the years but announced his intention to pursue a psychology degree at Harvard over the next three years.
