It reminded me of the Yale- Harvard playoff in 2014.After the game which Yale lost despite a tremendous effort by Javier Duren, Duren was interviewed. Duren said ” As much as I want to be upset,it was really awesome to be part of this experience.- How many people get to play Yale-Harvard for an NCAA bid-” He later assured people that the sun would rise the next day.-What a classy way to show that the process and an awesome career.

Even without Brett and Jill, it was another good episode.
It was great to hear Mike and George discussing Ivy hoops, especially the latest chapter in the Penn-Princeton rivalry. As good as it was, it would have been even better with Peter on board.
Wonderful interview with James Jones. He is quite an interesting individual, who can really discuss the old and new versions of the Ivy League.
Mike’s postscripts was the highlight of an all around great program. After listening to the interview and commentary, Mike showed himself to have the statistical intellect of Bill James, the decency of Fred Rogers and the eloquence of Charles Osgood in describing the microscopic and macroscopic levels of Ivy hoops. The conference and those of us at IHO are fortunate to have him to lead the way.
