COVID’s second hit on the Ivy schedule: Columbia at Yale men’s game postponed

New year, same scheduling challenges.

Yale Athletics announced Saturday that the Yale men’s game against Columbia scheduled to be held at John J. Lee Amphitheater Sunday has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns and protocols within Yale’s program.

The game will be rescheduled at a time and date to be determined.

The announcement comes a day after Harvard Athletics announced that the Harvard men’s game slated for Sunday at Lavietes Pavilion against Princeton had been rescheduled for Feb. 27 because of COVID-19 concerns and safety protocols within the Harvard program.

Meghan Moore, Ivy League associate executive director of communications & championships, told Ivy Hoops Online that the league is committed to rescheduling all games that are postponed due to COVID-19.
