Our George “Toothless Tiger” Clark recaps Princeton’s 77-70 Ivy League Tournament semifinal win over Penn at Jadwin Gym Saturday:

Two takeaway quotes:

Princeton coach Mitch Henderson on the Tigers’ short turnaround: “These guys are young. We’ll play them for everything tomorrow. They’ll be ready. … We went over Yale’s stuff on Monday. We know them. We’ve been thinking about them a lot.”

Penn coach Steve Donahue on his team’s season ending: “It’s a difficult way to end your season, particularly when I feel that the group here, the locker room in general, just did everything they could, preparation-wise and competing at a high level. It’s just been one of the more difficult of my career because I typically feel that, you know, you get what you deserve, and not that we didn’t get what we deserve, in a sense, but I thought that the level of effort that they gave, I couldn’t ask for more. And just give Princeton credit: They finished the job down the stretch.”
