This is exactly what the NCAA/Power 5 want. One or maybe two teams manage to overcome the systematic underseeding of mid majors, make a lot of noise in the first couple of rounds, and then get bumped out to leave most of the $ on the table for the rest of the field, heavily loaded with Power 5s. Follow the money. Let a few of the toughest little guys go to the N.I.T.
