From what I saw on the ESPN+ feed, it looked like the Tigers suffered a hangover from the Kansas game. I think that can be an additional cost of agreeing to play a powerful team like Kansas on the road. They beat you up, you use up a lot of energy to lose by 20, and then you don’t have the same energy for the next game, especially if it’s on the road. I’m not saying Princeton shouldn’t play teams like Kansas in the non-conference; but maybe there should be an emphasis on making sure the next game is at home to prevent a double-whammy.
They just don’t have enough talent on the roster.
NIL and the transfer portal have left the Ivy in the dust and Princeton doesn’t even accept transfers, so they’re at an even greater disadvantage.
